On-campus living provides More for Less

There are many great reasons to live on campus: Drexel University's new Recreation Center only steps away from the residential campus... unlimited-use laundry machines in most residence halls... SnapDragon concierge service... no need to commute and be late for classes.... trying to find parking... a convenience store within the residential area... game rooms steps away from the Northside Dinning Terrace featuring Chick-Fil-A, Currito, Subway, Taco Bell.... blocks from all major public transportation, University City, and Center City.. and a 24-hour residence staff who cares and will help you anytime!

New First Year / Freshmen Students

Drexel University believes that a safe, clean and comfortable living environment is a valuable part of a student’s social and educational experience and greatly contributes to their growth as a member of the University community.  To ensure that experience, starting with the first year/freshman class entering Fall 2012, students are required to live in university approved housing for their first and second years. First year students are required to live in a University Housing residence hall; second year students will have a variety of options to choose from. First year/Freshmen Housing Applications for 2012-2013 will open in March, 2012.

In these suites, students will have the ability to share 4, 6, or 7-person suites, complete with kitchenettes, semi-private bathrooms, and common areas. Other returning students enjoy living in apartment living environments featuring fully apartments, living rooms, and full-sized kitchens. Transfer Students

Drexel University does not guarantee housing for incoming Transfer students. If available, space will be offered to transfer students based on the date of their completed Housing Application (a completed housing application consists of a $200 Housing Deposit and a Housing Application via MyHousing.) Transfer students will apply for housing starting in mid-March each year for the upcoming Fall term. Traditionally, transfer students are housed within our returning student populations; however, University Housing reserves the right to assign transfer students to first-year residential communities.
