Parking Permit Renewal Process for Winter 2012

Renewal Process

Fall term customer permits hangtags expire on Sunday, December 11, 2011. Current fall term customers may renew their permits from Monday, November 28, 2011 through Friday, December 9, 2011. To renew, please make payment and receive a new permit hangtag by 5:00pm on Friday, December 9, 2011. The current on file parking form will be re-used to process renewals, but please update any vehicle or contact information that has changed. Un-renewed permit spaces will be made available to new customers beginning Monday, December 12, 2011.

Note: Employees using the payroll deduction pre-tax benefit method of payment will carry over automatically and those with annual permits dated to expire September 9, 2012 are automatically renewed. However, employees wishing to stop a parking deduction must complete the payroll deduction form and check the cessation box. The Fall term fee of $420, is distributed equally over the October, November, and December 2011 pay periods, and the Winter term fee will be distributed over the January, February, and March 2012 pay periods.

New Customers Process

New customer permit sales are on-going as spaces are immediately available. Those specifically interested in permit parking beginning in Winter Term 2012 (and not Fall 2011) may submit a Parking Permit Sales Contract form and make payment starting on Monday, December 12, 2011.

How to Obtain a Permit

Forms can be obtained in the Drexel Parking Office or online at: http://www.drexel.edu/dbs/parkingServices/forms

Payment may be made by personal check, money order, or major credit card, in person at the Drexel Parking Services Office at 34th and Market Streets, 8:00am - 5:00pm.

To receive your parking permit, please go to the Drexel Parking Services Office (located in the Parking Garage, First Floor, Room #124). Rates and locations may be viewed on the Drexel Parking Services web page at http://www.drexel.edu/parking.
