Obtain a DragonCard

A valid photo driver’s license, passport, or state-issued photo ID is required  in order to receive a DragonCard.

Undergraduate and Graduate Students

The DragonCard will be distributed during the New Student Orientation or New Students Day just prior to the start of the Academic Term.

The DragonCard can not be distributed prior to the start of the Academic Term. For example, if the student is starting in the Spring Quarter, the DragonCard will be distributed the weekend before the Academic Quarter begins.

Faculty and Professional Staff

Once all new-hire paperwork has been processed, visit any of the three DragonCard Offices to have a photo taken and the DragonCard issued. A valid photo driver’s license, passport, or state-issued photo ID is required to be presented to the DragonCard representative in order to receive a DragonCard.

If you are also taking class while employed by Drexel, you will receive a card with the designation of your primary status with the University. In most cases, this status is “Faculty” or “Staff” and not “Student.”

No person may be in possession of more than one DragonCard.

There is no charge for an initial DragonCard for students, faculty and professional staff. There is a $20 replacement fee, to re-issue a DragonCard.
