Mandell Theater is the primary venue for the
College of Media Arts and Design’s Department of Performing
Arts. It is a proscenium theater with a maximum seating capacity
of 424 people and is handicap accessible. Samuel and Ida Mandell
initiated its development for the enjoyment of students and the
community. Mandell Theater houses productions by Drexel’s
Theater, Dance and Music programs as well as conferences, lectures,
professional symposia, and open houses. Events are scheduled in
Mandell Theater by Nan Gilbert, Theater Manager, 215.895.2528.
