Cap and Gown
To attend your ceremony, it is required that you wear the appropriate academic regalia. Regalia consists of a gown, cap and hood, which reflect the degree being conferred. Regalia must be obtained from the University Bookstore (Creese Student Center, 32nd and Chestnut Streets, for Main Campus students; Bellet Building, 15th and Race Streets, for Center City students). Buy Your Own
If you are a bachelor's or master's degree candidate, you must purchase your regalia through the University Bookstore. To do so, visit the Bookstore with your student I.D. during the sales period, May 21-June 14. Graduation announcements will also be available for purchase. In addition, customized graduation announcements can be purchased from Herff Jones www.herff-jones.com.

Regalia must be purchased by June 7 to guarantee receipt of tickets to your Commencement ceremony. See Tickets for more details.
For Doctoral Candidates Only
Students receiving a doctoral degree must rent their regalia (cap, gown and tassel) through the University Bookstore. The rental price for the set is $41.98. Order forms must be completed in the University Bookstore or by phone by May 18. After this date, contact the University Bookstore and they will assist graduating students on a case-by-case basis. Distribution will take place on June 11-15.
Custom Drexel doctoral gowns and tams are also available for purchase through the bookstore. Deadline is April 30. After this date, contact the University Bookstore and they will help you with these purchases on a base-by-case basis.
