University City Main Campus

Guest tickets are available for pick-up with your academic regalia at the University Bookstore, Creese Student Center (32nd and Chestnut Streets) and the bookstore on the Center City Hahnemann Campus (Bellet Building, 15th and Race Streets) for students in the College of Nursing and Health Professions. Each graduate will receive an initial allotment of four tickets for guests. Only guests with tickets will be able to enter ceremonies. There will be no exceptions. To guarantee your guest tickets, you must purchase your regalia no later than Thursday, June 4.

All guests without tickets will be guided to a remote viewing location in the Mandell Theater located at 33rd and Chestnut Streets. Mandell Theater doors open one (1) hour prior to the beginning of each ceremony. This is a handicap accessible location.

Personalized Commencement announcements will be on display at the Center City and Queen Lane bookstores beginning March 16. Announcements may be ordered directly through CB Announcements:  1.800.433.0296 or online at Balfour.

Extra Tickets

At this time, there is no way to know if there will be any extra tickets for a specific ceremony. Our prediction at this time is that there will be no extra tickets.

The decision to release any extra tickets, if any, will be made in early June once the regalia sales deadline is reached. If there are any extra tickets, they will be made available only to graduates who have purchased regalia, and the expected distribution would be 1 extra ticket per graduate via an on-line random selection lottery.  Graduates will be notified of this lottery via their Drexel email.

Graduates often have success talking with their peers about unused tickets, and you are encouraged to start that conversation early with your peers.

If you have loved ones and guests without a ticket, a remote viewing location will be available on campus on the day of the ceremony for anyone without a required admission ticket who wishes to view the ceremony on campus. Also, all ceremonies will be available via live webcast.

College of Medicine

You should not register for tickets or participation until you have completed an application for degree found in the student records section of Drexel Central.

Once you have completed the application for degree you must register to participate in the ceremony and request tickets.
