Requesting Accommodations Due to a Disability

All requests for reasonable accommodations due to a disability should be made directly to the Office of Disability Resources (ODR).

Special services – such as Sign Language interpreters, accessible pathways to the event, alternate formats for the Commencement program and other materials, as well as other accommodations – must be requested through the Office of Disability Resources. Requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Requests made at least 2 weeks in advance of an event will be given priority. If you have such a request, please contact the Office of Disability Resources (ODR) at:

Voice: 215.895.1401
Fax: 215.895.1402
Email: disability@drexel.edu

The Commencement Venues

All venues used in this year’s Commencement ceremonies – University City Campus, the Pennsylvania Convention Center,  Citizens Bank Park, and the Kimmel Center for Law and Medicine – are accessible in both parking and seating.  Specific information on services at each venue will be published in May.

All ceremonies will be Close-Captioned on the large screens at the Convention Center, Citizens Bank Park, and University City Campus.  No special accommodation request is required to utilize these Closed Captioning (CC) services.
