Undergraduate: Questions and Answers

Experience Beyond the Classroom
In today's competitive job market, employers look for standout candidates
who offer a solid college education and professional experience. You may know
what you need to do academically. But how do you get that critical work
experience? We have the answer.
At Drexel, you combine classroom studies with hands-on learning through Drexel
Co-op: "The Ultimate Internship". Drexel Co-op is an extraordinarily valuable
and flexible enhancement to your studies, is a requirement in most
undergraduate majors. Depending on your major, you can graduate with up to 18
months of experience gained in up to three different six-month co-op
experiences.
You will work for top employers, learning how to network and develop
professional contacts, and by the time you graduate, you will have already
proved your potential. While on co-op, you have the chance to use the material
you learn in class, and to experience your chosen career before you
graduate--to make sure it is right for you!
A range of other career services offered by Drexel's
Career Management Center complements
Co-op opportunities. These services include resume reviews, individual
counseling, on-campus interviews, an alumni network, and skills assessment
programs. In addition, CMC offers an Employer Directed Resume Search, which
allows companies to browse the resumes of Drexel graduates via the
Internet--which ensures that you're on the radar screen for top jobs as soon
as they are posted.
