Lance Cpl. Joseph B. Maglione
Drexel University’s College of Engineering and Department of Athletics announce the establishment of the Joseph B. Maglione Memorial Scholarship Fund. Drexel is starting the scholarship to honor hometown hero Lance Cpl. Joseph B. Maglione, a U.S. Marine reservist who died on April 1, 2003 while serving with coalition forces in Kuwait.
A pre-junior studying in the Department of Civil, Architectural and Environmental Engineering, Joseph was a dedicated student who set an example for all of his classmates. He was a dedicated athlete and scholar whose cheerful disposition touched all that knew him. A co-op student at Northampton Bucks Co. Municiple Authority, Joseph is remembered by his colleagues as a loyal and model employee.
The scholarship fund established in Joseph’s memory will benefit engineering student athletes at Drexel. Contributions can be forwarded to: Joseph B.
