CoE Students Winners in Phase I
of Business Plan Competition

 

Six College of Engineering students were among the Phase 1 winners of the LeBow College of Business and Laurence A. Baiada Center for Entrepreneurship in Technology 2004 Business Plan Competition. In Phase 1 of the competition, five business plans put together by teams of Drexel students were selected on the basis of their concept papers.

Third place went to Joshua Carney (biomedical) and CoE students Christopher Sherman ’04 (CS), Steven Thomas ’04 (CS), Julius Munyantwali ’04 (ECE), Kathy Charles ’04 (CS) and Dan Donahue ’04 (CS) for their paper, "P Software.” Fifth place went to Diemhuong Bui ’04 (ECE) for "Zuktechman Corporation BRAin State RECognition System (BRASREC).”

All winning teams will receive a $500 prize and will be publicly commended at the annual Entrepreneur Conference on Wednesday, May 19, 2004. The winning teams are also encouraged to enter Phase II of the Business Plan Competition, which requires the creation of a full business plan.
