ECE PhD Student Receives 2nd External Grant of his Academic Career
Eric Gallo recently received funding equivalent to $20K for a grant from Photonics Technology Access Program (PTAP).  The National Science Foundation and the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency are the primary funding sources for PTAP. The grant awarded is entitled Terahertz Source for Testing Nano Plasmonic Sensors and consists of PTAP procuring and providing the high-tech equipment necessary, in this case a THz source.  This is Eric's second external grant, which is remarkable for a graduate student.  Additionally, Eric is also a NSF Fellow.
