CoE Spring Fling at the Dad Vail Regatta

May 10, 2008 11:30 a.m. BBQ is served 7 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Heats run Boat House Row along Kelly Drive Come out and join CoE at the Dad Vail Regatta for our Annual Spring Fling. Cheer on Drexel's crew and enjoy a day full of great food and fun! All are welcome!

CAEE Alumni Lecture

On Tuesday, April 15th at 4pm, the CAEE department will host the annual CAEE Alumni Lecture in Hill Conference Room, Lebow Room 240. This year’s speaker will be David Weggel, Ph.D, a professor of civil engineering at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Professor Weggel received a BSAE from the department in 1990 and a BSCE and MSCE in 1992. During his lecture, Professor Weggel will recount some of his most poignant experiences while at Drexel University and describe how his education at Drexel served as a solid foundation for his career in industry and academia. Weggel will also discuss his current work on experimental and analytical research on blast resistant structures, resilience of the building envelope, roadside safety, and port safety.
