5th Annual Golf Tournament Raises $300,000
Alumni, faculty and staff gathered at the Huntingdon Valley Country Club June 29, 2009 to take part in CoE’s 5th Annual Golf Tournament. The golf tournament successfully raised over $300,000 for CoE student programs and scholarships. The top three teams out of the 110 participants were awarded prizes. Prizes were also awarded for longest drive, straightest drive and closest to the pin. Congratulations to our winners!

First Place with a score of 115: Pennoni Associates
Second Place with a score of 119: Road Con
Third Place with a score of 120: CoE Student Team
Closest to the Pin: Joe LaGrossa
Longest Drive: Tom Gramigna
Putting Contest: Chris Cochran

The day ended with a reception in the Club’s spacious hall. Dr. Selcuk Guceri, Dean of CoE, presided, congratulating all participants and especially Kevin Loftus ’87 for their help in raising money to benefit CoE students in need of financial assistance. The college would like to extend a special thanks to all of our participants, donors and sponsors.
