Evan Forman, Ph.D.

Evan Forman, Ph.D., is the Director of the Behavioral Weight Loss Program and an Assistant Professor of Psychology.  He is also the Associate Director of Drexel University's Student Counseling Center, and the President of the Philadelphia Behavior Therapy Association (PBTA).  He received his B.A.from Cornell University, and his Ph.D. from the University of Rochester in 1999. He is a clinical psychologist specializing in the evaluation of psychotherapy outcome, mediators of psychotherapy outcome, cognitive-behavior therapy, acceptance-based therapy, mood and anxiety disorders, and suicidality.

James Herbert, Ph.D.

James Herbert, Ph.D., is a Professor of Psychology.  He is the Director of Clinical Training at Drexel University, and the Director of the Anxiety Treatment and Research Program at Drexel.  He received his B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin and his doctorate from the University of North Carolina at GreensboroHe is a clinical psychology specializing in cognitive-behavior therapy, mood and anxiety disorders, and the distinction between science and pseudoscience in psychology and related fields.

Michael Lowe, Ph.D.

Michael Lowe, Ph.D., is a Professor in the Department of Psychology at Drexel University and a Research Associate at the Renfrew Center for eating disorders.  His research focuses on eating and weight regulation among dieters, obese individuals, and those with eating disorders. He is a member of the Scientific Advisory Board for Weight Watchers International, and is a past Chair of the Obesity and Eating Disorders Special Interest Group of the Association for Advancement of Behavior Therapy.  He is also the Associate Editor of the Journal of Abnormal Psychology.

Meghan Butryn, Ph.D.

Meghan Butryn, Ph.D., is a Post Doctoral Fellow in the Department of Psychology at Drexel University.  She received her B.A. from Cornell University, and her doctorate from Drexel University.

Kimberly Hoffman

Kimberly Hoffman is a doctoral student in Drexel's clinical psychology program, studying acceptance-based behavioral approaches to weight loss.
