Law & Psychology Program:
Application Requirements
- All JD/PhD applicants must apply online through the Graduate Admissions portal and the Law School Admissions portal.
- All applicable items listed on the Admission Application Checklist
- Essay: Please write a comprehensive statement no longer than 1,500 words that discusses your interests and professional goals in law and psychology, including your past research (if any) and your plans for future research.
- Three letters of recommendation – Download the Letter of Recommendation Form (Word Doc.), complete Section I, and pass on to your evaluators. Evaluators should complete Section II and attach a letter of recommendation (printed on official letterhead). Both documents must be returned to you in a sealed envelope with the evaluator’s signature across the seal.
- GRE: Official copies of GRE scores (psychology subject test recommended)
- LSAT Scores & LSDAS Registration: All applicants are required to register with the Law School Data Assembly Service (LSDAS). The LSDAS will provide a report to the Earle Mack School of Law containing information important in the admission process. Visit the Law School Admission Council website for more information and to register. Among other things, this report will include your LSAT scores.
- TOEFL (international students only)
- Faculty Preference Ranking Form: This form is submitted through a secure web-based application. Please complete the online Faculty Preference Ranking Form.
- Curriculum Vitae/Résumé
- Interview (if you successfully pass the screening process)
