Student Fellowship Recipients Panel July 7th
June 30, 2011 — On Thursday, July 7th, the Drexel Fellowships Office will host its annual Student Fellowship Recipients Panel from 6:00-7:30pm in Curtis 352A. This is an opportunity for interested students to hear about their peers' experiences applying (successfully) for prestigious national and international awards. This year's panelists will include biology graduate student Karen Sullam, who received the Fulbright Scholarship to conduct research at the Swiss Federal Institute of Aquatic Science and Technology, one of the world’s leading aquatic ecology research institutes; and English alumna Rachel Semigran, who was one of only ten students to receive the Jack Kent Cooke Graduate Arts Award for 2011. Karen and Rachel will be joined by Kevin Knehr, a mechanical engineering undergraduate and recipient of the Goldwater Scholarship, and Liz Plowman, an electrical engineering undergrad and NSF Graduate Research Fellow.
