Professor McNamee has articles in Cambridge Graduate Forum and had papers published as part of conferences in both Literature and Interfaith Spirituality and Dialogue. She also has book reviews in several local publications. She is a Phi Beta Kappa and was a Rhodes Scholar Finalist.

Professor McNamee teaches several courses for the Department of English and Philosophy, including American Literature, Dystopian Fiction and Freshman Writing.
