Dr. Brebach is the author of Joseph Conrad, Ford Madox Ford, and The Making of Romance. He is the Editor of Joseph Conrad: Comparative Essays and the Assistant Editor of 'Twixt Land and Sea and an Assistant and Contributing Editor of The Cambridge Edition of the Works of Joseph Conrad. He has articles in several journals, including Modern Philology, Conradiana, The Conradian and L'Epoque Conradienne.

Dr. Brebach teaches several courses for the Department of English and Philosophy, including Modern British Fiction, The Literature of Colonialism, The Immigrant in Literature and Readings in Fiction.
