OBJECTIVES: This course introduces criminology to the student as a

of human beings. Such topics as criminological theory,

the nature and extent of crime, research methods, law enforcement,

and the courts, to name but a few, will be examined. Focus

will be on sociological methods and concepts as tools

                                    for understanding criminality.
