Course Requirements:
Attendance is required. In the case of extraordinary
circumstances, absence will be excused with a paper proof of the circumstance
(a doctor¹s note for illness, etc.). Excused absence is given at the sole
discretion of the instructor. A student who has more than two unexcused
absences will be assumed to have dropped the course. Repeated lateness will
also contribute to the lowering of grade.
You must turn in all work personally and during class. No work will
be accepted if turned into my mailbox or handed in by another student. All work
is due on assigned class day. Late work is not acceptable without the
instructor¹s approval. Please note that projects will not be rescheduled to
accommodate personal vacations, trips or other non-Drexel activity.
Plagiarism:
Plagiarism,
also known as academic cheating or theft, includes submitting someone else's
work as your own or not appropriately acknowledging (through correct reference
citation) material you have borrowed/taken from other writers. Plagiarism also
includes using without attribution material written or created by others that
you have taken from the World Wide Web. Review guidelines in the Drexel Student
Handbook on pages 40-42 or speak to your instructor.
Plagiarism
is a serious ethical offense that can result in a failing grade for the project
and/or the course and will result in a letter to the University Judicial Board.
