Research Interest:

Criminal Justice and Juvenile Justice reform including Community-based alternatives to Incarceration; Correctional Education and programming; Reentry and reintegration; Restorative Justice; Issues of Special Needs Offenders; Elderly, Women, Juveniles, Mentally Ill, Life-Sentenced offenders; Social definitions and responses to deviance; Technology and Criminal Justice; Media and Public Policy Responses to Crime and Criminal Justice; Public education on Criminal Justice system issues including crime and punishment.
