CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation)
Change the introductory paragraph to the following: All students must have a current CPR certification on file. The CPR certification must be from either the American Heart Associate (BLS for the Healthcare Provider) OR the American Red Cross (CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer). The certification must be updated prior to the expiration date listed on the card. To find a course that is offered in your area, please refer to one of the following links:

ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
Required for Acute Care NP, Nurse Anesthesia, and PA students only.
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
Required for Pediatric NP and Nurse Anesthesia students only.
All students who currently hold a nursing license must have and maintain a current RN license.
Licenses will be verified via Certified Background.
All graduate and RN‐BSN students must also obtain an RN license for any state in which they plan to complete clinical hours.
