Background Check

Required clinical training rotations occur at independent health care facilities that are affiliated with the program.  Each clinical site may require a student to satisfactorily complete a criminal background check, child and elder abuse checks, drug test, immunizations, physical exams, health history or other types of background screening before the student is permitted to begin clinical training at that site.  Failure to fully satisfy these requirements may prohibit assignment to that clinical site for training. Individuals who have been convicted of a felony or misdemeanor may be denied licensure as a health professional.  Information regarding eligibility may be obtained from the appropriate licensure bodies.
