Earl D. Fraley, PA-C Associate Director, Drexel University Entry-Level Master of Health Science Hahnemann Physician Assistant Program






After 32 years of teaching and mentoring the next generation of physician assistant students and faculty Mr. Earl Fraley will be retiring in December, 2006. Earl has been a life-long health care worker, now in his 40th year.  He has been a physician assistant for 32 years and is a 1976 graduate of the Physician Assistant Program of the Hahnemann Medical College and Hospital.  He has clinical experience in family medicine, emergency medicine, internal medicine, and student/employee health in both private practice and institutional settings.  Prior to becoming a physician assistant, Earl had health care experience in nursing service and medical laboratory technology.

As Associate Director of the Hahnemann Physician Assistant Program of Drexel University, Earl participates in numerous aspects of the day-to-day administration and operation of the PA Program.  A faculty member since 1977, Earl has created and directed numerous program courses.  He continues to lecture and conduct small group seminars and laboratories in several courses in the didactic phases, as well as participate in both the clinical rotation and preceptorship phases of the clinical curriculum.

Earl is a Fellow of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, member of the Physician Assistant Education Association, member and Past-President of the Alpha Eta National Honor Society of Allied Health, and member of the Pi Alpha Honor Society for Physician Assistants. 

More than 50 Drexel faculty, alumni, family and friends attended Earl's retirement party held Friday November 17th, 2006. The cocktail reception was held at Drexel's Paul Peck Alumni Center Board Room on the main campus.
