David
Buck Memorial Alumni Scholarship
Dear
Hahnemann Physician Assistant Alumni,
It is with great pleasure to announce an alumni scholarship in honor
of David Buck, PA-C, HU ‘87.
Mr.
Buck was a member of the Physician Assistant Program faculty at
Allegheny University of the Health Sciences School. His career success
began at graduation from the Hahnemann PA Program for the outstanding
graduate. He joined the PA Program faculty in 1989 after working
as a PA in cardiology at Hahnemann University Hospital.
As the director of the Physical Diagnosis course and director of
Clinical Rotations, David contributed to the education of more that
500 students and graduates. Recognized by students and faculty as
a consummate educator, David was honored with the Trustees Award
for Teaching Excellence in the School of Health Sciences and Humanities
in May, 1996.
The
purpose of the David Buck Alumni Award is to recognize and support
a physician assistant student in the clinical phase of the PA Program
dedicated to excellence in patient care. The candidate must be a
full-time Drexel University Hahnemann physician assistant student
in the clinical phase of the PA Program.
Please
join me in supporting the David Buck Alumni Scholarship and continuing
the Hahnemann Physician Assistant Program tradition of graduating
outstanding physician assistants with a donation. (Please specify David Buck Memorial Alumni
Scholarship in the "special instructions"
line)
Sincerely,
