Physician Assistant 2008 Challenge Bowl Team

Julie Kinzel, MEd, PA-C, and Naveed Ahmned, PA-C, MPAS, MD, faculty advisors to the W.W. Oaks Physician Assistant Student Society and faculty in the Physician Assistant Program coached the Drexel University Hahnemann Physician Assistant Challenge Bowl to the final round in the National Medical Challenge Bowl, held on Monday, May 26, 2008 at the American Academy Physician Assistant Annual Conference in San Antonio, Texas.
Drexel University, College on Nursing and Health Profession, Physician Assistant Program team members included Jacqueline Cummings, Willow Leitch, Kristen Frank, and Erica Lin.
The National Medical Challenge Bowl is a competition coordinated by the Student Academy of the American Academy of Physicians. The competition is held during the American Academy Physician Assistant Annual Conference and this event is organized in a medical “Jeopardy” style. Forty-eight teams, compete to answer medical-related questions.
The friendly competition was infectious. There were over 50 students, alumni and faculty from Drexel University proudly wearing their Drexel Dragon Team Shirts cheering and supporting our team.
