Nursing: MSN Nursing Leadership in Health Systems Management Track

This online masters program prepares nurses for senior roles in a fast-changing, increasingly demanding health care environment. Students have the opportunity to develop the skills needed to become nursing managers and leaders.

The program teaches nurses how to solve problems, make decisions, resolve conflict and operationalize the mission and goals of the healthcare delivery system. This program focuses on the development of leadership skills and knowledge in areas such as: fiscal management, legal/ethical issues, strategic planning, organizational structures and marketing. Clinical role practica provide opportunities for students to further develop leadership skills for complex healthcare organizations

Key Program Features:

This is a 46 quarter credit graduate program with two practica. It is designed for part-time attendance by working nurses.
