She and her co-op student Mashaal Syed were also co-authors on a paper that will be presented at the IEEE World Haptics Conference 2013, the 5th Joint Eurohaptics Conference, and IEEE Haptics Symposium. Their paper, “Understanding the Role of Haptic Feedback in a Teleoperated/Prosethetic Grasp and Lift Task,” also included the work of co-authors Jeremy DeLaine Brown, Andrew Paek, Marcia O’Malley, Jose Luis Contreras-Vidal, Brent Gillespie, and Alecia Davis.
Finally, Dr. Shewokis also co-authored “Vibrotactile Feedback of Pose Error Enhances Myoelectric Control of a Prosthetic Hand,” another paper that will be presented at the conferences and symposium.
