Drs. Rundio and Meloy Promoted to Associate Deans of the College’s Nursing Division

Philadelphia, PA, September 25, 2012 — Dr. Gloria Donnelly, Dean of the College of Nursing and Health Professions, announced September 17 that Drs. Al Rundio and Faye Meloy will be appointed to Associate Dean positions, effective October 1.

Dr. Rundio, who was formerly the Chair of the DrNP Program, will be the Associate Dean for Post License Nursing Programs, overseeing the RN-BSN, MSN, Nurse Anesthesia, DNP, and CNE Programs at the College. Dr. Faye Meloy, previously the Chair of the College’s BSN Co-op Program, will be the Associate Dean for Pre License Nursing Programs, overseeing the ACE and BSN Co-op Programs. As these promotions have required that the Associate Deans of the Nursing Division relinquish their former roles, Drs. Rundio and Meloy will manage an internal search for their replacements in the two available Chair positions.

Both Dr. Rundio and Dr. Meloy have served as Interim Deans since June 1, and they have worked closely with Dean Donnelly to improve policy, processes, and procedures in the Nursing Division with the aim of faculty and Chair empowerment.
