Announcing a lecture by Dr. Arleen L. Salles
Arleen L. Salles, Ph.D. is the director of the Neuroethics Programs for the Center of Philosophical Investigations (CIF - associated to the National Scientific and Technical Research Council of Argentina), a visiting professor of professional ethics at Universidad Torcuato Di Tella, and a professor of philosophy at Universidad Argentina de la Empresa. She is on the editorial board of the International Journal of Feminist Approaches to Bioethics, and serves as the ethicist for the Ethics Committee and Animal Research Ethics Committee for the Fundación Instituto Leloir. She has published numerous books, anthologies and articles on issues in bioethics. Her current research interests include neuroethics, ethical issues regarding the use of stem cells and the role of emotion in ethical reasoning.
