Health-Services Administration: Program Outcomes

The graduate of the Health Services Administration Bachelor of Science Program is able to:

  • Utilize the growing body of knowledge regarding the ever-expanding health-care industry—both nationally and internationally—in a managerial capacity in a health-services setting.
  • Demonstrate leadership skills.
  • Contribute to the health-services professions by sharing knowledge and skills with clients, peers, and health professionals through effective verbal and written communications.
  • Effectively utilize various technologies to access and manage information in a variety of settings.
  • Assess changes in health care and community needs.
  • Communicate to staff new developments, changes, and department/clinical needs.
  • Use policies and standards as a guide to professional behavior and practice.
  • Participate in ongoing educational activities to enhance personal growth and professional practice.
