Barbara Siebert, MSN, CRNP, APRN-BC is an Clinical Assistant Professor at Drexel University College of Nursing & Health Professions, where she is the coordinator of the Women's Health Nurse Practitioner Program and Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner MSN Completion Program.

Professional Experience:
1979-1981: Holy Name Hospital, ICU Nurse
1981-1983: Holy Name Hospital School of Nursing, Clinical & Didactic Instructor
1986-1988: University of Pennsylvania Department of Cardio-thoracic Surgery, NP Practice
1988-Present: St. Christopher's Hospital For Children, Department of Adolescent Medicine, NP Practice
1993-2006, Planned Parenthood Federation of America's Women's Health Nurse Practitioner Program, Associate Director, Program Coordinator & Clinical and Didactic Educator.
In September 2006, the PPFA Women's Health NP Program was transferred to Drexel University College of Nursing & Health Professions.

Educational Background:
1979 - Diploma in Nursing from Holy Name Hospital School of Nursing, Teaneck, NJ;
1981 - BSN from Dominican College of Blauvelt, NY;
1986 - MSN/Family Nurse Practitioner from the Medical College of Virginia/Virginia Commonwealth University School of Nursing, Richmond, VA.
1995 - Post-Master’s Certificate in Graduate Nursing Education from the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing, Philadelphia, PA.
1986 - Present - ANCC certified as a FNP.

As a FNP, Professor Siebert has extensive clinical experience providing comprehensive Medical and Family Planning/GYN health care to adolescents, comprehensive women's health and primary care. She maintains a clinical practice at the Adolescent Health Department of St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia. In addition to her clinical and teaching responsibilities, Professor Siebert lectures & conducts workshops to advance practice clinicians throughout the country in the areas of Anatomy & Physiology of the Male & Female Reproductive Systems, comprehensive and gender sensitive male & female genital examinations, promotion of male health care initiatives and women's health issues throughout the life cycle.
