Stephanie Maxine Ross is a leading expert in Complementary and Integrative
Therapy (CIT), a renowned educator, with expertise in Botanical Medicine, Clinical Aromatherapy and Clinical Nutrition. She is a pioneer in the vitally important area of bringing Complementary and Integrative Therapy (CIT) education to nurses, medical students, and to other healthcare professionals throughout the United States.
Stephanie Ross is a Clinical Assistant Professor at Drexel University College of Nursing and Health Professions and the Director of the Program in Complementary and Integrative Therapies (CIT). In addition to her teaching, she is expert Advisor in CIT and the research and content specialist in curriculum and program development. Professor Ross is the Corresponding Editor for the prestigious peer-reviewed Holistic Nursing Practice Journal, her featured column is “Herbal and Nutritional Supplements”.
Professor Ross is a nationally recognized speaker on Botanical Medicine, Women’s Natural Health and Complementary and Integrative Therapies. She has lectured extensively to nurses, and to other health care practitioners at conferences throughout the country. She serves on the advisory board for the Center For Frontier Sciences, and the speaker’s bureau for the American Botanical Council. In 1996, she was appointed Director of Botanical Medicine at Temple University School of Medicine where she initiated the first course in Herbal Medicine to be offered in a medical school in the United States. Stephanie Ross was primary consultant in the development of
the Botanical Medicine curriculum at the Center for Integrative Medicine, University
of Arizona, under the directorship of Andrew Weil, M.D. She has held the position as Spokesperson and Science Advisor for the internationally renowned phytomedicine company CamoCare/Lichtwer Pharma USA located in New York City.
