Dr. Krista L Rompolski received a B.S. in Exercise Science and an M.S in Exercise Physiology from Bloomsburg University, and Ph.D. in Exercise Physiology from the University of Pittsburgh. Her graduate research training included obesity and physical activity interventions for both healthy participants and those at risk for chronic disease. She holds her Health and Fitness Specialist certification from the American College of Sports Medicine and her Certified Personal Trainer certificate from the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Prior to joining the faculty at Drexel, Dr. Rompolski served as a Wellness Director at the Boyertown area YMCA and as a Clinical Research Coordinator at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Teaching interests include Pathophysiology, Anatomy and Physiology and courses in clinical research.
Dr Rompolski's research interests include obesity and its associated comordbidities, physical activity promotion and nutrition during pregnancy, and body image dysmorphia.
