Mr. Cornele is the Coordinator of the Center for Interdisciplinary Clinical Simulation (CICSP) and a Clinical Instructor in the College of Nursing and Health Professions at Drexel University, having been with the university since 1994. He is part of the Informatics faculty and has served as coordinator of the nursing informatics and senior nursing capstone labs.
Mr. Cornele graduated from Widener University in 1980 and holds a BSN. He maintains professional affiliations with the Emergency Nurses Association, American Heart Association and is active in nurse advocacy groups at the state and local levels. Mr. Cornele has been a guest lecturer for the Drexel University Physician Assistant Program. He has presented workshops in airway management, nursing and paramedic educational issues, PDA implementation topics, simulation development, use of standardized patients and the art and science of moulage at both the University and State levels. Clinically, Mr. Cornele continues to work as a staff nurse in the Emergency Department at Hahnemann University Hospital and Trauma Center.
