Dr. Amendolia is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the College of Nursing and Health Professions. She received her BSN from Richard Stockton College of New Jersey in 1999 and her MSN as a neonatal nurse practitioner from the University of Pennsylvania in 2003. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Drexel University in 2011. While completing her doctoral studies at Drexel she was awarded the “Outstanding Second Year DrNP Clinical Scholar Award.”
Dr. Amendolia is board certified as a neonatal nurse practitioner and practices clinically in the NICU at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, NJ. She has an extensive clinical background in neonatology. Her research interests include feeding difficulties and respiratory diseases of the newborn. She is a member of National Association of Neonatal Nurses and Sigma Theta Tau.
