Lisa Aiello is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the College of Nursing and Health Professions. She teaches in the undergraduate program, online RN to BSN Completion program, and the online Clinical Trials Research Master’s program.
Lisa obtained her BSN from Villanova University, College of Nursing. She received an MSN from the University of Pennsylvania, School of Nursing, specializing in Adult Oncology. She is currently a doctoral candidate (PhD) at Villanova University, specializing in nursing education.
Lisa was the program developer and coordinator of a cancer risk evaluation program in Philadelphia. She is actively involved in the development of genetics and genomics education as well as the development of a genetics nursing certification.
Hereditary cancer syndromes
Ms. Aiello's research area is integrating genetic/genomic nursing competencies into clinical practice. Lisa has experience in the development and management of an evidence-based treatment decision platform for oncology practitioners.
