Dr. Petit de Mange is currently the Coordinator for the Versatile Individual Program (VIP) Program in the College of Nursing and Health Professions Graduate Studies. She earned an ADN from Gloucester County Community College, Sewell, NJ in 1980, a BSN from Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia, Pa. in 1986, a MSN in Nursing Administration from Widener University, Chester, Pa. in 1989 and a PhD in Nursing from the University of Colorado, Denver, Co. in May 2002. Dr. Petit de Mange has taught nursing at the Community College and University levels since 1989. Her research and publications have focused on health disparities among underserved and minority populations and pediatric health.

Dr. Petit de Mange has presented at international, national and local conferences and workshops. She is a member of American Public Health Association and Sigma Theta Tau, Nu Eta Chapter. Her extensive and diverse clinical experiences in urban and rural settings have included the care of pediatric and adult clients in hospital and home care settings. Dr. Petit de Mange has also worked for the Navajo Nation as a Community Health Nurse in Kayenta, Arizona.
