Constance
K. Perry, Ph.D., E.M.T., is Associate Professor in the Health
and Society Program, in the College of Nursing and Health
Professions at Drexel University. After graduating from the
University of Rochester (Rochester, NY) with a B.A. in Health
and Society, she earned a Master’s and Ph.D. in Philosophy
at the University of Buffalo (Buffalo, NY). She completed
a Fellowship in Clinical Ethics at Loyola University of Chicago.
Dr. Perry
teaches a number of undergraduate and graduate courses in biomedical
ethics, research ethics, philosophy and critical thinking. She
Co-Chairs the Hospital Ethics Committee for Hahnemann University
Hospital – Tenet. She also serves as the ethicist for the Institutional
Animal care and Use Committee for Drexel University. Her research
interests include autonomy, personhood, feminist ethics, ethical
issues in reproduction and pregnancy, and the ethics of animal
experimentation. |
