John Cornele, BSN, RN, CEN, EMT-P, Instructor in the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Program, College of Nursing and Health Professions. He serves as the Course Coordinator for the Pre-hospital Field Techniques I &amp; II, Special Topics in EMS and Prehospital Registered Nurse courses. He has been with the program since 1994. Mr. Cornele graduated from Widener University in 1980 and holds a BSN. He is working towards his Masters at Drexel University.

Mr. Cornele maintains professional affiliations with the Emergency Nurses Association, Pennsylvania Paramedic Association, American Heart Association and serves on the Nursing Advisory Committee for the Pennsylvania Emergency Health Services Council. Mr. Cornele has been a guest lecturer for the MCP Hahnemann University Physician Assistant Program. He has presented workshops at both the University and State levels. Clinically, Mr. Cornele volunteers with various EMS providers in Delaware County, PA.
