Ferne M. Cohen M.S.N, CRNA, has been a CRNA since 1986. She received her BSN in 1982 from Fairleigh Dickinson University, MS from Medical College of Pennsylvania in 1986 and MSN from Drexel University in 2006. Ferne has practiced as a CRNA in a variety of clinical settings administering anesthesia to both adult and pediatric patients. She has been involved in the education of nurse anesthesia students since 1987 as a former program director and as a clinical instructor. Ferne is an active member of the NJ Association of Nurse Anesthetists serving as state treasurer and was named the NJANA State Peer Assistance Advisor in May 2007. Her interests outside of anesthesia include fitness, spending time with her family and volunteering in her community.
