Rebecca Buckley, MHS, PA-C is the Associate Director of Clinical Education and co-director of the History Taking course. She is also the Clinical Coordinator for the Psychiatry and Adult Medicine rotations. She has been with the Physician Assistant Program faculty since 2004. Ms. Buckley graduated from Hahnemann University in 1987 and holds a Bachelor of Science from Hahnemann University. She completed her Master of Health Science from Drexel University in 2003. Ms. Buckley maintains professional Affiliations with the American Academy of Physician Assistants and Pennsylvania Society of Physician Assistants.

Ms. Buckley has presented workshops and lectures to fellow PA’s, the public, residents and house staff on topics including; physician impairment, medical aspects of addiction, infection control, self-care for women, seizure disorders and dual diagnosis and psychotropic medications. She has recently co-authored an article titled Geriatric Depression, accepted for publication in JAAPA April, 2007.

Clinically, Rebecca has practiced for the last 17years in family practice, addiction medicine and plastic surgery. Currently, Ms. Buckley is working at The Reading Hospital and Medical Center, Center for Mental Health - Child Psychiatry.
