Lew
Bennett obtained his Associate Degree in Nursing from Hahnemann
University in 1984. He went on to receive his Bachelor of
Science in Nursing from Thomas Jefferson University Hospital
in 1990. He became a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist,
graduating from Montgomery Hospital School of Anesthesia in
1992. In 1995 Lew obtained his M. S. from St. Joseph’s University.
In 1998 he received his MSN from Temple University.
Lew’s employment history includes working as a staff Nurse
Anesthetist at Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia Pennsylvania
from 1992 to 1999. He became the Associate Program Director
for Pennsylvania Hospital School of Nurse Anesthesia and held
that position from 1999-2002. Most recently he was a staff
Nurse Anesthetist and Clinical Coordinator at Cooper Hospital
in Camden New Jersey, from 2002-2004.
When not involved in anesthesia, Lew enjoys spending time
with his wife and two children, Lew III and Kirsten, following
Philadelphia sports teams, playing tennis, skiing and traveling.
