Ann Thiel-Barrett RN, MSN, APN, is a clinical assistant professor in the College of Nursing and Health Professions. Ann obtained an ADN and BSN from Hahnemann University. In addition, she received a MSN, specializing in nursing education and curriculum development from Villanova University. Ann also holds a post-master certificate as a family nurse practitioner and is certified as an advanced practice nurse by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Besides the varied clinical background as a Pediatric Nursing and a Family Nurse Practitioner, Ann has twenty years of teaching experience in Medical-Surgical and Pediatric Nursing. This includes teaching at Drexel University in an adjunct role for four years before joining the faculty full-time. She is a recipient of Drexel's Adjunct Clinical Teaching Award. Ann also has served as coordinator of a nursing program for many years before coming to Drexel University.
