Clinical assistant Professor, Course Co-Director Pharmacology and Therapeutics, Academic Coordinator of Medicine Rotation. Also serves as small group seminar leader for Problem Based Learning and Physical diagnosis.

Joined the Drexel University Hahnemann Physician Assistant Program in July 2007. Served as faculty in the Cook county Hospital/Malcolm X College Physician Assistant Program, Chicago, IL since 2003. Worked in Internal Medicine/Family Practice. Naveed brings to the program a wealth of knowledge and experience in Internal Medicine and Family practice. This professional experience has given him an excellent background in preparing students for all aspects of primary care practice.

Naveed earned his Master of Physician Assistant Studies in 2007 from The University of Nebraska. Graduated from Cook County Hospital/Malcolm X College Physician Assistant Program in 2003. He graduated in 1997 with an MD degree from Medical School in St. Lucia, West Indies.

He is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, a nationally board certified Physician Assistant and currently licensed to practice as a Physician Assistant in the states of Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Illinois.

His interest is working with the underserved population with special emphasis on Preventive Medicine and Health Screening.
