BEFORE
MATRICULATION
¹ The
DrNP Program will accept GRE scores as long as they are official,
from any year. Please note that official scores, up to 5 years old
are accessible from the Educational Testing Services (ETS). The
DrNP Admissions Committee will accept any of the following: a) Official
scores from ETS; b) A memo, secured by the applicant, presented
on another school's University/College letterhead that states that
GRE scores were officially submitted to that college/university
on such and such a date and that the scores were XXX-XXX-XXX, and
that the scores were sent officially to that school directly from
ETS. Typically when a student takes the GRE, s/he requests that
scores are sent to a school/program; c) The prospective student
submits official transcripts that list GRE scores. Some universities
list submitted GRE scores on transcripts whether the student received
a degree from the school or not; d) If s/he cannot get scores via
options a, b, or c, the applicant must take the GRE again in order
to secure official scores. If you can not produce GRE scores taken
prior to October 1, 2002, you must also submit GRE Analytical Writing
scores.
² Each
admitted student must possess and articulate a focal area of clinical
nursing practice or research interest that can be supported by Drexel
College of Nursing & Health Professions Core & Teaching
DrNP nursing faculty or nursing faculty with a Graduate Research
Faculty Appointment. Please consult the CNHP Website for this information.
Otherwise qualified students may be denied admission if there is
no appropriate faculty match for the student's desired clinical
research area.
