The interview consists of a review of personal academic interpersonal and creative aptitudes of the applicant. The interview includes a portfolio review. For international applicants a video taped presentation may be substituted for the in person interview.

The interview and portfolio presentation in the admission process mirrors the creation and discussion of personal artwork that occurs in classes. This aspect of the education focuses on the exploration and experience of the depth and dimension of the human condition as expressed in the art process.
