of Family Therapy Program: Essential Facts
A
minimum of 68 credit hours is required for the M.F.T. degree. Also,
students must have at least 500 hours of direct client contact,
including a minimum of 250 hours with couples and/or families. Students
are further required to have a minimum of 100 hours of supervision,
50 of which must be focused on raw data (live observation, audio,
and video). Students are required to participate in individual/dyadic
(not to exceed two students) and group (not to exceed six students)
supervision. At least 50 of the 100 hours of required supervision
must be group supervision.
