Master of Family Therapy Program: Admission Requirements


All applicants must have a bachelor's degree in mental health or related field from an accredited college or university and must take either the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) or Miller Analogies Test (MAT). Candidates must have a GPA of 3.0 or above, combined GRE score of 1,500 or above across the three areas (Quantitative, Verbal, and Analytical) or MAT score of 40 or above, and three letters of recommendation. A personal interview is mandatory to assess the candidate's maturity, commitment to couple and family therapy, and compatibility of interests with those of the program.
