Behavioral Health Counseling:
Faculty
Students
interact with a multidisciplinary adjunct and full-time faculty
who are selected for their commitment to teaching/mentoring students
and for their current clinical expertise as professionals currently
working within behavioral health care settings. Therefore, our faculty
members integrate practical, real-life examples within the context
of course-specific reading and homework assignments. They also strive
to foster among students attitudes that are open to and accepting
of full participation in classroom discussions, role-playing and
related instructional activities designed to promote critical thinking
and collaborative learning processes. Because our faculty members
are also practicing behavioral health care professionals, they offer
students an excellent resource for career networking and advisement.
